The official Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube channel has uploaded a new video for the opening theme for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds: "Sonic Racing - Cross the Worlds - (Opening ver.)". The music is by Takahiro Kai, lyrics are by James Bourne, an English singer-songwriter and co-founder of pop-punk bands Busted and Son of Dork, and the rap lyrics are by Chez & Yuki Kanesaka.

"Sonic Racing - Cross the Worlds - (Opening ver.)" is also available on major streaming platforms today:
What do you think of the theme song? I personally find the lyrics a little too cheesy, even for Sonic, but this is the same game that has SpongeBob SquarePants as a racer, and maybe it will grow on me. Share your thoughts in the comments below.
