These past few months, I have been focused on adding multiple features to Soundtest.FM. Here's a run down of everything that's new and in the works.
First: the big one. The third major pillar of Soundtest.FM is our video game music wiki, which is now under construction. This wiki is focused on everything relating to VGM: the games, individual music tracks, album releases of soundtracks, the musicians, bands, composers, and other people that contribute to them, and more. The radio station feature will be able to link to the wiki. This means you can click on the song title, game/album, or artist to bring up the corresponding page and read while listening.
If you would like to contribute to the wiki, please join our Discord server and post under our #wiki-general chat.
The official Soundtest.FM Discord server is now live. We already have channels setup for various topics, so drop in to discuss and hang out.
Following our Spotify profile, we now have a Tidal profile for tracking video game music on the platform.
We have 2 channels on the Discord server under "Streaming Services", one for each account profile. If there is video game music to add (which there definitely is), you can let us know there.
There is also now a global search feature, currently setup for blog posts. I will be expanding on this in the future, including looking into adding wiki search results.
Soundtest.FM's founder and webmaster, Nicholas is a web developer with a passion for video game music. He enjoys creating art, learning new things, and listening to Synthwave.
